Written, performed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Janne Lehtinen at Mummy Towers, his home studio in Kallio, Helsinki, between June 2002 and April 2003. Johan Turbanov plays guitar on ‘December’ and ‘What Could Be Better’; Michael McDonald of Treeball speaks Nick Triani’s words on ‘Pinkish’, which owes something to Charles Mingus’ ‘The Clown’; Riitta Supperi sings backing vocals on the title track.
Review average: 4.3 out of 5. Sue Magazine called it the Finnish album of the year. Nöjesguiden put it at #10 of 2003. Radio Helsinki played it until their copy turned to dust.
A modern classic that, with any justice, will turn into a genuine evergreen.
